GO BEHIND THE SCENES OF AN IPL PHOTOFACIAL TREATMENT

Stop the clock on the appearance of aging skin.

Benefits IPL Photofacial

1. Regeneration of Skin Cells:

IPL (Intense Pulse Light) Photofacial uses photo-thermal energy to gently heat the stratum corneum (upper layers of skin), stimulating the regeneration of cells and taking years off the face, neck, hands or almost any other part of the body — often after just one treatment. It is an innovative technology that uniquely delivers light therapy targeting the signs of aging and sun damage and effectively provides a more refreshed, rejuvenated and youthful appearance. IPL Photofacial is not just an aesthetic treatment for existing skin damage. It can also be a preventive regimen — what we call “Prejuvenation™” — for keeping young skin looking young.

2. Superior and Most Powerful Technology:

We have chosen to provide IPL Photofacials with the Sciton BBL™ system – one of the most powerful IPL machines on the marketplace. We have selected the Sciton BBL™ System due to its consistency of energy application, integrated sapphire cooling, and unique wavelength filtration system. Its precise wavelength allows for a predictable interaction with the skin. Energy from the laser is applied over a longer period of time coupled with a high pulse rate that results in selective thermal injury from the absorption of the laser energy. The process promotes a natural healing process that results in collagen growth while also improving skin complexion. The result is a firmer and more youthful appearance.

3. Prevents Signs of Aging Skin:

IPL Photofacial treatment is clinically proven not only to correct sun damage, but also to prevent the signs of aging skin, such as wrinkles. This non-invasive treatment delivers BroadBand Light (BBL) to the epidermis and dermis, stimulating changes in skin tone, improving texture, elasticity and pigmentation — with visible, long-lasting improvement after just one treatment. All with zero patient downtime.

4. Treats a Variety of Skin Conditions:

IPL Photofacial offers a wonderful treatment for a wide variety of skin conditions. For skin rejuvenation, IPL Photofacial removes age spots, freckles, Rosacea (redness), small blood vessels and other pigmentation irregularities. Skin will look clearer, smoother, pigment and vascularity reduced and overall revitalized. Not only is this a perfect treatment for the face, other areas of the body such as hands, arms, neck, shoulders and décolleté can be treated.

5. Allows for Additional Treatments:

An extra added benefit of an IPL Photofacial is that the procedure allows for additional treatment to be combined with chemical peels such as our Signature Chemical Peel and ViPeel or Microdermabrasion treatments. IPL stimulates collagen growth to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles – safely and effectively. FAQ’S

Can IPL Photofacial treatment really stop the clock on the appearance of aging skin?

Yes! It was proven in a long-term clinical study. Patients received regular BBL treatments over the course of a decade. At the end of the study, doctors judged the patients to appear 11 years younger than their actual age. In other words, they looked younger than when the study began.*

    What areas can be treated?

Any area of the body can be treated. The most common areas are those most exposed to the damaging effects of sunlight. Most people ask for treatments on the face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders.

How many treatments will I need?

Our guests have seen amazing results after just 1 treatment! However, the number of treatments needed varies from patient to patient, and our professional technician will personalize a plan based on the level of improvement you desire. Generally, 3 to 5 treatments at 4 week intervals will produce the desired results. We highly recommend regular treatment of at least once a year to optimize your results.
